Duygu Ozcelik is a chemist focusing on Microalgae Biotechnology for functional food and food ingredients. She obtained her MSc. degree in Environmental Sciences from Bogazici University, Turkey in 2020. She worked as a research assistant in the Environmental Sciences Institute of Bogazici University (2017-2022).
Research Interests
- Extraction, quantification, and characterization of functional food ingredients from microlgae.
- Analysis of nutritional composition of novel microalgae species.
- Investigation of growth kinetics and pollutant removal efficiency of microalgae in different culture medium including dairy industry side-streams.
